# Stage 3: Pre-sale Event

## Participate in the Cyclix Games pre-sale to purchase $CYG at a lower price than the public and get exclusive pre-saler perks & rewards

## 1. Overview

**The Token Pre-sale will take place on April 3 & 4, 2024, Presale will begin on April 3rd, 4pm UTC.**

* The pre-sale will be open to the public to participate - no prior registration required.
* A total of 6.75M tokens will be available for the pre-sale.
* The pre-sale will last for 48 hours, split into 3 phases, each lasting 16 hours. The pre-sale will end when all allocated tokens are sold or when the phase 3 timer has expired.
* The token price will vary at each phase, with phase 1 being the lowest price (see the full breakdown below).
* Pre-salers will be vested to avoid an immediate crash in price and will eligible to claim 30% of tokens at TGE and vested for 6 months.
* The minimum amount is set at 1000 tokens, with incremental steps at 1000 tokens. There is a limit of 150,000 tokens per user wallet.
* The pre-sale token along with airdrop allocation will then be claimed by users through a dedicated Cyclix Games portal.

## **2. Pre-sale Benefits and Referral Program**

* There is potential to get up to 10% bonus tokens through the referral program. By sharing and referring other members during the pre-sale, pre-sale buyers receive a bonus of up to 10% of bonus tokens (see breakdown below).
* All pre-sale buyers receive an automatic entry into the gamified whitelist program for the Cyclix Games ecosystem NFT launch in Q2-Q3 2024.
* All pre-sale buyers receive early access to the first game inside the Cyclix Games ecosystem.
* Exclusive and impromptu ETH rewards through various community activities.

\*Note: in order to be eligible for the benefits, token holders must be part of the pre-sale group and be holding a certain amount of tokens during snapshots. The minimum amount of tokens required will be determined at a later date.

## **3. Pre-sale Phase Information**

As mentioned above, the pre-sale will last for 49 hours, split into 4 phases.

Pre-sale will end when all allocated tokens are sold or when phase 3 timer have expired

* **OGs: 1 $**CYG **= $0.067 (1.5 lower than launch) - 1st hour**
* **Phase 1:** 1 $CYG = $0.067 (1.5x lower than launch) - next 15 hours
* **Phase 2:** 1 $CYG = $0.071 (1.4x lower than launch) - next 16 hours
* **Phase 3:** 1 $CYG = $0.077 (1.3x lower than launch) - next 16 hours

Note: the pre-sale period is coded into the smart contract. As a result, there will not be any extension of time. 

## **4. Pre-sale Referral Bonus**

With gaming at our core, the gamification process starts from Day 0. Please see details and an example on how our referral program works below:

* 5% bonus to referrer
* 5% bonus to referee

Example:

John referred Sam.\
Sam purchased 1000 tokens during pre-sale, using John’s referral code.

Sam will receive 1000 tokens **+ 50 tokens.**\
John will receive **50 tokens**, as a bonus for referring Sam.

A unique referral code will be generated for you **only after you make a purchase during the pre-sale phase.** (Exceptions applies for OG and Mini-game sign-ups, people for these groups will already have their referral code created and tagged to their wallet address) 

Note: One referral code is tagged to one wallet address. 

To ensure fairness, we will not be able to make changes to your allocation if you forgot to key in the referral code.

## 5. Pre-sale Proceeds

Pre-sale proceeds will go to liquidity (\~30%), paying for past and future development work as well as marketing, building & executing our roadmap. Remaining funds will be kept in the Treasury. 

The Treasury mentioned here is the same Treasury mentioned under “Tokenomics”.

This means that from Day 1, Cyclix Games aims to have enough funds to:

1. Reward the community.
2. Engage in marketing activities to boost visibility and value.
3. Immediately start executing the roadmap.
